Il Sentiero di Cipresso Italiano

This mosaic fine art piece is 'The Path of Italian Cypress'. The mosaic smalti is hand cut and fitted then mounted to a concrete backer board with thin set. It has four different grouts to blend the background colors to the adjacent smalti pieces that lends uniformity of color and consistency of light. This piece was accepted for exhibition at the 2006 New Mexico State Fair and was displayed in the Fine Arts Building.
