Mosaic Mountain Asters

This series of mosaic flowers mirrors complement one another by their abstract association. Purple asters bloom in the fall in New Mexico and can be seen along the highways and back roads casting a bluish purple glow to the contrast with the vibrant yellows of the chamisa in bloom. As the very dark charcoal grout beside the deep purple/blue talavera mosaic tile is very difficult to represent through digital photography, a selection of photos are shown here. Below are more photos taken with different backgrounds to better represent the true colors of these vibrant mosaic flower mirrors.

Note that the blue asters mirror and the purple asters mirror are the same dimensions; however, the center mirror is taller by two inches.
